Amentum is seeking a strategic Vice President of Finance Excellence and Transformation to lead a technology-centric, enterprise-wide finance transformation. This role will unify finance, optimize processes, data governance, and an integrated operating model to support long-term profitable growth.

The candidate will partner with CFO leadership, drive multi-year roadmaps, and oversee cross-functional teams, including ERP and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Typically 12–15+ years of progressive Finance/Operations experience with at least 5 years leading enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives.
• US Citizenship is required to apply.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field; master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Transformation Vision: collaborate with CFO leadership to define a compelling finance transformation roadmap.
• Stakeholder Engagement: secure buy-in from business leaders and key stakeholders early.
• Change Management: harmonize processes and adopt new tools and standards across functions.
• Assess current-state processes and systems to identify gaps from M&A growth.
• Lead end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of enterprise-wide finance transformation.
• Oversee cross-functional teams, consultants, and vendors; manage milestones and resources.
• Set and monitor KPIs; report progress, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.
