Job summary

The Standard’s Employee Benefits team is hiring a Voluntary Employee Benefits Consultant to drive top-line growth and recruit producers across Kansas and Nebraska. You will work with national, regional, and local Employee Benefit Brokers, Consultants, General Agents, Technology Partners, and Enrollment Firms to ensure profitable growth and sales objectives.

Establish and maintain relationships with broker partners for voluntary group and life insurance products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Life & health licensing required or to be obtained upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years' experience selling voluntary benefits.
• Must reside within Kansas or Nebraska and be able to travel 2–3 days per week within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain consulting relationships with broker partners, General Agents, technology partners, and enrollment firms for voluntary group and life insurance products.
• Serve as subject matter expert on enrollment technology solutions and product offerings for clients.
• Deliver training and ongoing development to producers, agencies, and general agents to support growth in the region.
• Collaborate with internal departments to achieve production goals and ensure high-quality business.
• Analyze market trends and provide feedback to influence corporate strategy and marketing initiatives.
