Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for virtual assignment in the coming school year. This remote teletherapy role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to impact students' communication skills across settings.

Responsibilities include conducting virtual evaluations, developing individualized IEP-based plans, delivering direct teletherapy, and collaborating with teachers and families.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Active Georgia SLP license (or ability to obtain).
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience (school-based and/or teletherapy preferred).
• Experience with IEP development and virtual service delivery is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in a remote setting.
• Provide direct teletherapy services and track student/progress.
• Use data to guide therapy decisions and adjust interventions as needed.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
• Provide guidance and strategies for carryover in home and classroom settings.
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and IEP goals.
• Ensure services meet state, district, and federal guidelines.
• Complete reports, evaluations, and billing documentation as required.
• Utilize virtual platforms and digital tools to deliver engaging therapy sessions.
• Adapt materials and methods for an effective online learning environment.
• Troubleshoot basic tech issues and support families with platform use.
• Support students in accessing appropriate communication services.
• Provide education and resources to families and school teams.
