The role directs and coordinates educational, administrative and counseling activities, manages staff, and ensures compliance with educational standards in a virtual environment. A state School Administrator license is required.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in business, education or related field.
• State License as a School Administrator.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience as online/virtual educator.
• Experience with online learning platforms.
• Ability to travel 20% of the time.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong communication with teachers, students and parents.

Aufgaben

• Directs and coordinates educational, administrative and counseling activities of students.
• Manages teaching and administrative staff; articulates the school’s mission and vision.
• Utilizes communication technologies to support virtual/remote work.
• Confers with teachers, students and parents on educational/behavioral issues.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws including special education.
• Develops and oversees implementation of the school’s Academic Improvement Plan.
