Stride, Inc. through Volunteer State Virtual Academy (VSVA) is seeking an Academic Administrator/Principal to direct educational and administrative activities in a predominantly virtual setting.

This leader will coordinate counseling, work with teachers, students and families, and ensure compliance with education laws. The role requires a Master's degree in education or related field, a state School Administrator license, online teaching experience, and a 20% travel commitment.

Formación

• Master's degree in business, education or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State License as a School Administrator.
• Experience as an on-line/virtual educator.
• Experience teaching in an online and/or brick-and-mortar environment.
• Experience with online learning platforms.
• Able to travel 20% of the time.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Web applications.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and coordinates educational, administrative and counseling activities of students.
• Manages teaching and administrative staff to align with school mission and vision.
• Oversees implementation of Academic Improvement Plan.
• Ensures programs meet local/state/federal laws, including special education requirements.
• Confers with teachers, students and parents regarding educational/behavioral issues.
• Utilizes communication technologies to support a virtual/remote work environment.
