Stride, Inc. is seeking an Academic Administrator/Principal for Volunteer State Virtual Academy (VSVA), a Stride K12 partner, to direct educational, administrative and counseling activities in a primarily virtual setting.

The role requires a Tennessee Principal Certification, a Master's degree, five years of educational experience with at least one year in supervision, and ability to travel up to 20%. Remote work is possible, with a preference for Tennessee or nearby states.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in business, education or related field of study and five years of educational experience.
• One year of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to clear required background check.
• Experience as an on-line/virtual educator.
• State License as a School Administrator.

Aufgaben

• Direct and coordinate educational, administrative and counseling activities of students personally or through subordinate supervisors.
• Ensure conformance of educational programs to state and local standards through evaluation, development and coordination activities.
• Manage teaching and administrative staff; manage Master and Lead Teachers and programs.
• Articulate the school’s mission and vision to stakeholders and support a predominantly virtual/remote work environment.
• Coordinate with teachers, students and parents regarding educational and behavioral issues.
• Develop and oversee implementation of the school’s Academic Improvement Plan.
