Stride, Inc. partners with Volunteer State Virtual Academy (VSVA) is seeking a dynamic Academic Administrator/Principal to direct educational, administrative, and counseling activities for virtual students.

The role requires a Tennessee Principal Certification, five years of educational experience, supervisory background, and strong leadership in a remote education setting. Occasional in-person PDs and events may be required. Travel up to 20% expected.

Formación

• Master's degree in business, education or related field.
• Five years of educational experience.
• One year of supervisory experience or equivalent combination.
• Ability to clear required background check.
• State license as a School Administrator required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and web tools.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures conformance of educational programs to state and local standards through evaluation, development and coordination activities.
• Researches and implements non-K12 curriculum resources that meet state standards.
• Manages teaching and administrative staff; oversees Master and Lead Teachers and programs.
• Articulates the school’s mission and vision for all stakeholders and supports a virtual/remote work environment.
• Coordinates with teachers, students, and parents regarding educational and behavioral problems; works with enrollment regarding expulsions and withdrawals.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including special education; develops and oversees the Academic Improvement Plan.
