Stride, Inc. is seeking a visionary Academic Administrator/Principal for Volunteer State Virtual Academy (VSVA).

This remote leadership role directs educational and administrative services, supervising Master and Lead Teachers to meet state standards and student needs in a virtual setting. The ideal candidate holds a Tennessee Principal Certification, demonstrates strong leadership and communication, and can travel up to 20% while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal education laws

Formación

Master's degree in business, education or related field.
Five years of educational experience.
One year of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to clear required background check.

Responsabilidades

Ensure conformance of educational programs to state and local standards.
Research and implement non-K12 curriculum resources meeting state standards.
Manage teaching and administrative staff and programs.
Articulate the school's mission and vision for stakeholders; support a virtual/remote work environment.
Coordinate with teachers and enrollment regarding expulsions and withdrawals.
Ensure compliance with laws, including special education requirements.
Develop and oversee the Academic Improvement Plan.
