Job summary

VHC Health in the United States seeks a Virtual Nurse/Nursing Care Partner to deliver indirect nursing care across Medical-Surgical, Telemetry and IMCU via remote technology. You will perform admission assessments, patient education and discharge planning while following hospital policies and using EPIC for documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the care team, strong communication skills, and the ability to present information clearly in written and spoken form.

Qualifications

• Two years of Nursing/Patient Care in an acute care setting is required; 5 years preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required or, Compact State Licensure in Nursing required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS or PALS cards stand as showing competence in BLS Skills per American Heart Association Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient admissions assessments via remote technology.
• Deliver patient education and discharge teaching remotely.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate indirect nursing care.
• Communicate with patients through remote platforms and written/auditory/visual methods.
