Job summary

RYZE is seeking a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support the Raw Material Manager with specifications, supplier risk assessments, and horizon scanning as the company scales toward cross-category launches.

You will gather specs, complete SQQs, build supplier risk processes, assist with approvals and product changes, and maintain audit-ready records while collaborating across time zones.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative, quality, or supply chain support role in food, beverage, or CPG.
• Excellent attention to detail with high-volume documentation across 100+ specs.
• Strong written English and research skills for horizon scanning and reporting.
• Comfortable using AI tools to speed up research while verifying accuracy.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and quality/compliance record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Support specification gathering for 100+ raw material and packaging specs.
• Complete Supplier Quality Questionnaires (SQQs) accurately and on time.
• Build and own supplier risk assessment process covering food safety, allergens, origin, and risk factors.
• Assist with new supplier approvals, product changes, and launches with documentation.
• Research horizon-scanning info and flag emerging risks to Raw Material Manager.
• Support data trending and analytics for materials and suppliers, using AI where helpful.
• Maintain organized records across specs, SQQs, and risk assessments for audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Raw Material Manager and Quality team to flag gaps proactively.
