Job summary

This role involves conducting inspections, reviewing compliance documents, and collaborating with operations and suppliers to maintain high product standards. Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or laboratory testing within a CPG, food, beverage, or dietary supplement environment.
  • Solid understanding of GMP, FSMA, and HACCP standards.
  • Experience in performing in-process inspections, sampling, and test documentation.
  • Experience with in-process inspections, sampling, and test documentation.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools like HPLC, moisture analysis, or microbiological testing is a plus.
  • Proficient data analysis and reporting using Excel/Sheets/LIMS.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine in-process and finished-goods inspections.
  • Review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and test reports.
  • Support incoming raw-material verification.
  • Ensure accuracy and traceability of results; record data and deviations.
  • Issue NCRs and support CAPAs; assist root-cause investigations as needed.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and R&D to improve quality.
  • Conduct facility walkthroughs to maintain GMPs; help create and revise SOPs/batch records.
  • Ensure adherence to FDA, cGMP, FSMA, HACCP requirements for dietary supplements and foods.

The Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Analyst to ensure Goods meet the highest standards of safety, consistency, and performance from production through distribution. In this role, you’ll perform routine testing predefined, maintain quality documentation, and collaborate cross-functionally to uphold regulatory compliance and brand excellence across all RYZE manufacturing partners.

You’ll be the critical link between operations, suppliers, and the customer—verifying that every product leaving our network reflects the integrity of the RYZE brand.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct routine in-process and finished-goods inspections to verify conformance to product specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Review Certificates of Analysis (COAs), test reports, and supplier documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Support incoming raw-material verification and manage quarantine or release processes in collaboration with Procurement and Production.
  • Ensure accuracy and traceability of results.
  • Record inspection data and deviations with precision, issuing non-conformance reports (NCRs) and supporting corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Assist in root-cause investigations for quality or process deviations, providing data-driven brigandings.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and R&D to ensure product consistency and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to ensure GMPs are maintained.
  • Contribute to the creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
  • Ensure adherence to FDA, cGMP, FSMA, and HACCP requirements for dietary supplements and food products.
  • Generate and present quality reports summarizing inspection trends, testing outcomes, and improvement metrics.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or laboratory testing within a CPG_digit, food, beverage, or dietary supplement environment.
  • Solid understanding of GMP, FSMA, and HACCP standards.
  • Experience performing in-process inspections, sampling, and test documentation.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as HPLC, moisture analysis, or microbiological testing (a plus).
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills using Excel, Google Sheets, or LIMS platforms. Compassion. id>s

Bonus Points
  • Experience auditing co-packers or suppliers.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, GFSI, or NSF certification standards.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP systems for batch and lot tracking.
  • Prior experience supporting new product launches or validation testing.
