RYZE Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our raw materials and packaging specifications, supplier assessments, and horizon scanning.

You will help maintain accurate documentation as we scale for DTC and mass retail launches, ensuring audit-ready records across specs and risk evaluations. You will work remotely across time zones with the Raw Material Manager and Quality team, leveraging AI tools to speed research while preserving accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative, quality, or supply chain support role in food, beverage, or CPG.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with high-volume documentation across 100+ specs.
• Strong written English and research skills for horizon scanning and reporting.
• Comfortable using AI tools to speed up research while verifying accuracy.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, document management, and quality/compliance records.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work remotely across time zones.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Raw Material Manager, the Virtual Assistant will provide dedicated, detail-driven support across raw material and packaging specifications, supplier risk assessment, and horizon scanning. As RYZE scales its raw material base to support DTC, mass retail, and a cross-category launch in early 2027, this role keeps our specification and supplier documentation accurate, current, and audit-ready.

Responsibilities will include:

• Support specification gathering for the Raw Material Manager across RYZE's 100+ raw material and packaging specs
• Support timely, accurate completion of Supplier Quality Questionnaires (SQQs) across the supplier base
• Build and own the supplier risk assessment process, covering food safety, allergens, product type, country of origin, and other risk factors
• Support new supplier approvals, product changes, and new product launches with timely documentation and follow-up
• Research and compile information for horizon scanning, flagging emerging raw material, regulatory, or supply risks to the Raw Material Manager
• Support data trending and analytics for raw materials and suppliers, using AI tools where they improve efficiency without compromising accuracy
• Maintain accurate, well-organized records across specs, SQQs, and risk assessments, keeping documentation audit-ready at all times
• Partner closely with the Raw Material Manager and wider Quality team, proactively flagging gaps or inconsistencies before they become issues.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in an administrative, quality, or supply chain support role, ideally within food, beverage, or CPG
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, comfortable managing high volumes of documentation across 100+ specs without errors
• Strong written English and research skills, able to synthesize information clearly for horizon scanning and reporting
• Comfortable using AI tools to speed up research and data work, while applying good judgment to verify accuracy
• Proficient with spreadsheets, document management, and quality/compliance record-keeping
• Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working remotely and independently across time zones.
