Mothers Against Drunk Driving is seeking a Victim Services Advocate to manage a caseload of victims of impaired driving, delivering crisis support, referrals, and group sessions. The role requires building connections with legal and medical systems and collaborating with staff to ensure comprehensive victim services.

The remote position requires residing in Jackson, MS area, with a salary around $50,000 and benefits including health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field with 1+ year in victim advocacy or grief support.
• Reliable transportation to court and flexible schedule.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with data entry and using online systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of victims/survivors and provide emotional support, information, and referrals.
• Conduct needs assessments and develop tailored case management action plans.
• Provide court accompaniment and guide victims through legal, financial, and medical systems.
• Recruit and support volunteers; contribute to fundraising and donor relations as needed.
• Maintain accurate case records and grant reports in line with standards.
