Job summary

The Bowen Group is hiring experienced online call center customer service representatives to support the Veterans Experience Office at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This is a 100% virtual position; your residence must be within 60-minute driving distance to a VA facility in Salt Lake City UT or other listed locations.

Training is provided and shifts are 24/7. We require six months of call center experience, strong communication and empathy, and a U.S. citizen or green card holder.

Qualifications

• Six months of consecutive call center or contact center experience.
• Must have high-speed internet with 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• VA-issued computer and equipment provided after orientation.
• Ability to work on a fixed schedule with reliable attendance and start/end times.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with empathy for Veterans.

Responsibilities

• Explain VA services and procedures to Veterans and their families.
• Ask clarifying questions to identify complex requests for VA services.
• Accurately record calls and service requests in CRM systems.
• Route Veterans to appropriate VA resources to meet needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of callers.
• Navigate multiple screens and CRM applications during interactions.
