Job summary

Military Technical Recruiting, LLC is seeking a Veteran Placement Specialist to identify, engage, and place veterans into roles with clients’ needs. This role is offered as an independent contractor with a flexible, remote work arrangement across the United States.

Ideal candidates have a strong veteran network, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to match candidates to diverse job requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong network within the veteran community.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand and articulate job requirements for veterans.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Willing to engage in outbound recruiting via phone, email, LinkedIn and other platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage veterans through the MTR.vet platform and other channels.
• Assess candidates' skills and match to client requirements.
• Build relationships with veterans and military transition programs.
• Facilitate interviews and employment process.
• Provide post-placement follow-up and support.
