Job summary

Bottomline is seeking a Customer Success Associate to join the Vendor Success team for the Paymode-X network. You will ensure customers realise Paymode-X value, drive engagement, and maintain strong vendor relationships in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Based near Portsmouth with hybrid/remote flexibility, the role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data-driven insights, and proactive problem-solving to protect revenue and enhance customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience within the FinTech, payments, or financial services industry.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine passion for helping customers succeed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries by educating customers on Paymode-X value.
• Drive customer engagement and adoption of Paymode-X features.
• Manage vendor inquiries and escalations to resolution and revenue protection.
• Identify retention risks and collaborate with internal teams on solutions.
• Build strong relationships to support long-term engagement.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Member Services, and other teams.
• Gather, analyze, and present Paymode-X data to support reviews.
• Share best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
