Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or contract management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience with SLAs, performance metrics, and contract lifecycle management.
• Experience conducting vendor risk assessments and third-party due diligence.
• Knowledge of risk analysis methodologies and ability to evaluate vendors across multiple risk dimensions.
• Experience managing vendor portfolios across multiple service categories or business functions.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to vendor management, procurement, and third-party risk.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools; willingness to learn vendor management software systems.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills to digest complex material, assess risk, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Contract drafting, review, and redline experience with risk mitigation focus.
• Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform experience and understanding of third-party risk management frameworks.
• Familiarity with risk assessment tools and methodologies (e.g., vendor questionnaires, risk scorecards).
• Background in managing vendors across technology, professional services, staffing, or BPO categories.
• Experience in the insurance industry or with insurance-related vendors and service providers.
• Ability to travel as necessary for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary business contact for vendor relationships and liaison across internal teams.
• Drive onboarding and contract renewals, coordinating across stakeholder groups.
• Manage vendor portfolios across service categories and monitor performance against SLAs.
• Maintain vendor risk documentation, scorecards, and escalation procedures.
• Lead business reviews and strategic planning with key vendors.
• Conduct comprehensive vendor risk assessments and due diligence.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and Marsh policies across vendors.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure consistent vendor management standards.
• Support process optimization, analytics, and reporting for vendor management.
• Negotiate contracts and oversee the contract lifecycle including MSAs and SOWs.
• Travel as needed for meetings and vendor assessments.
