Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a VDI/Data Sensitivity Analyst to assess data classification, usage, and migration to VDI across enterprise-wide systems. You will partner with stakeholders to identify critical systems, evaluate secure data storage approaches, and develop a strong business case with adoption considerations.

Responsibilities include leading interviews, documenting current and future-state models, and presenting findings to technology leadership, while aligning with data policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field
• 5–7 years of BA experience with data governance or IT infrastructure
• Experience analyzing systems usage and data flows across units
• Familiarity with VDI concepts (Citrix, VMware Horizon, AVD) or quick learner
• Strong stakeholder interviewing and requirements gathering
• Experience in cost-benefit analyses and executive-ready docs
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational skills for multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Partner with business groups to inventory systems and data usage
• Assess and classify data sensitivity across groups and systems
• Identify critical systems and high-risk storage to migrate to VDI
• Document current and future-state data storage models
• Develop recommendations and business case for VDI migration
• Collaborate with Security, Technology and Business teams to validate findings
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews and requirements sessions
• Present findings to technology leadership
• Support migration roadmap and change management
• Analyze data and process flows to support risk assessment
• Evaluate PAM processes as part of data security
• Support auditing and compliance for data usage and access controls
