Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a seasoned Business Analyst specializing in data sensitivity and VDI migration. You will partner with InfoSec and Infrastructure to assess data classification across systems, identify critical workloads, and develop business cases for secure data storage and access strategies in a multi-platform environment.

This remote role requires 5+ years of BA experience, strong stakeholder interviewing, and the ability to translate complex findings into executive-ready

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience with data governance or IT infrastructure initiatives.
• Experience analyzing data usage and workflows across multiple business units.
• Familiarity with VDI concepts (Citrix, Horizon, AzureVD) or quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Inventory systems, tools, and data usage patterns across groups.
• Assess data sensitivity across systems and workflows.
• Identify critical systems for VDI migration prioritization.
• Document current and future data storage and usage models.
• Develop business cases for VDI migration including risk and cost considerations.
• Collaborate with Security, Technology and Business teams to validate findings.
