Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical clinics and clinical documentation.
• Locate FINs and link documents to veteran records in Cerner/Oracle.
• Index documents by section, note title, date of service and visit location.
• Verify images are uploaded correctly and legible.
• Data entry with high accuracy.
• Experience with Cerner/Oracle or similar EHR systems preferred.
• Active coding credential required (RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC).
• VA or federal healthcare coding experience preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Attach images to the correct electronic health record elements.
• Verify images are uploaded correctly and legible for viewing.
• Locate FINs and link documents to the veteran record.
• Index documents with correct section, note title, date of service and visit location.
• Perform 100% internal QA before submission.
