Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant VA or federal healthcare coding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Cerner/Oracle or comparable EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Attach images to the correct electronic health record elements.
• Verify images are uploaded correctly and legible for viewing.
• Locate FINs and link documents to the correct veteran record.
• Index documents by the proper section, note title, date of service, and visit location.
• Perform 100% internal QA before submission.
