The role requires an active PA license, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and adherence to VA guidelines and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the US.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PA, preferably in disability exams.
• Basic Life Support certification with renewals.
• Military experience or familiarity with veterans preferred.
• Proficient in documenting medical opinions and reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Comprehensive Medical Disability Examinations for veterans.
• Review medical records and diagnostic results to assess conditions.
• Render objective medical opinions on disability impact and work ability.
• Work with case management systems and submit findings to QA team.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and subject matter experts.
