Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking qualified Physician Assistants to perform comprehensive Compensation & Pension medical disability examinations for veterans. You will review medical histories, conduct focused assessments, and render evidence-based opinions, while traveling to clinics as needed.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and licensed in the United States.
Minimum 1 year of experience in medical disability examinations.
BLS certification required.
Ability to work independently and with teams.
Experience with VA or disability evaluations preferred.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations and 10% travel to other Loyal Source clinics.
Review and analyze medical records and diagnostic data.
Render objective medical opinions on veterans' health issues.
Manage casework within the QA and case-management systems.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain additional information.
Document examination findings clearly following VA guidelines.
Maintain compliance with VA training requirements and privacy standards.
Coordinate with QA team to ensure thorough and accurate findings.
