Job summary

Loyal Source seeks a Physician Assistant Examiner to conduct VA Compensation & Pension examinations. You will review records, perform focused assessments, and provide medical opinions. Charting from home may be required, with 10% travel to other Loyal Source clinics.

Minimum PA license and 1 year of PA experience are required; BLS is mandatory. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with HIPAA and VA guidelines governing the workflow.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited PA program with an unrestricted U.S. license.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant.
• Experience in medical disability examinations or related field preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required, with renewals.
• Familiarity with VA MDE program requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations and document findings.
• Review medical history and records to assess disability impact on daily life and function.
• Render objective medical opinions based on exam findings and records.
• Manage case load and coordinate with QA team and other departments.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
