Job summary

Aquent is seeking a User Experience Researcher to independently scope and execute research across digital assets for a leading insurance client. You will collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, IT, and business teams to understand objectives and deliver user-centered design solutions.

Experience with a range of qualitative methods and strong storytelling is essential. You will lead complex research projects, synthesize insights, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders, driving

Qualifications

5+ years of UX research experience in a corporate setting.
Ability to work in Central or Eastern time zones for morning meetings.
Expertise across qualitative methods: usability studies, interviews, surveys, card sorts.
Strong storytelling: translate data into actionable insights.
Familiarity with Design Thinking and Lean UX.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (UX, Product, IT).

Responsibilities

Lead custom research initiatives for insurance experiences (Auto, Property, Specialty).
Synthesize insights from multiple sources to inform design decisions.
Partner with product, IT, analytics, and UX teams to align objectives.
Develop user personas, journey maps, and research findings.
Present clear recommendations and business context to stakeholders.
Communicate findings clearly to executive audiences.
Foster collaboration across diverse teams and perspectives.
