Job summary

Aquent Talent is seeking a User Experience Researcher to independently scope and execute research for digital experiences in the insurance sector. You will partner with product, design, IT, and analytics teams to translate business objectives into user-centered insights.

Ideal candidates have advanced UX research methods experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to Design Thinking and Lean UX principles while working remotely in Central or Eastern time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX Research experience in a corporate setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, HCI, Information Design or Master's with 3+ years.
• Ability to work in Central or Eastern time zones.
• Expertise in qualitative research methods including usability studies, interviews, focus groups, surveys, card sorts, and heuristic reviews.
• Exceptional communication and data storytelling skills.
• Experience with Design Thinking and Lean UX.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, custom research initiatives across auto, property and specialty insurance experiences.
• Integrate insights from primary and secondary research and operational data.
• Foster collaboration across UX, Product Owners, IT, Analytics and other teams.
• Drive discovery with personas, journey maps, and user goals.
• Influence partners with clear, actionable recommendations and business context.
• Communicate findings clearly to senior and executive stakeholders.
• Support diverse perspectives and cross-functional teamwork to achieve goals.
