Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking a seasoned UX leader to mentor a team of designers and elevate our e-commerce experiences. You will own the design process, align decisions with customer insights, and partner with research, marketing, and IT to drive conversion and engagement.

This remote, full-time role requires travel to Melville, NY for six annual meetings and offers a strong benefits package and a six-figure salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
• 10+ years of UX leadership experience, including 2+ years directly managing designers.
• Demonstrated experience designing direct-to-consumer e-commerce experiences with ownership of conversion outcomes.
• Experience using customer research to drive design decisions, not just aesthetics.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end ownership: research input, design rationale, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience presenting design work and strategy to executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX designers, setting standards for craft, rigor, and consistency across projects.
• Establish and enforce a research-informed design process: every major design decision should trace back to a customer insight, usability finding, or behavioral data point.
• Partner with Customer Research to translate findings into actionable design direction.
• Own UX best practices and design standards, including accessibility, information architecture, and interaction patterns across e-commerce and app experiences.
• Represent UX work to executive leadership, translating design decisions into business terms (conversion, retention, engagement).
• Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, and IT to align design solutions with product strategy.
• Build a framework for prioritizing UX initiatives based on customer impact and business value.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and timelines across multiple design workstreams.
• Champion AI-driven tools to enhance design workflows and innovation.
