Job summary

Instrumental is seeking a UX Design Strategist to blend UX strategy, web design, and creativity for high-performing digital experiences. This remote, full-time role focuses on translating business goals and user needs into engaging, measurable websites for clients.

You will work across cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and stay ahead of UX trends while using tools like HubSpot, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of UX, web design, or digital design experience.
• Strong portfolio showing UX thinking, visual design, and web design.
• Experience with modern UX methodologies and user-centered design.
• Proficient in Sketch, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Suite.
• Experience designing websites from discovery through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and strategy for website redesigns with client research and workshops.
• Translate goals and user needs into thoughtful website experiences.
• Develop wireframes, page designs, and visuals following best practices.
• Present concepts to clients and explain the strategy behind them.
• Create digital assets including PDFs, CTAs, emails, and social graphics.
• Collaborate with PMs, developers, strategists, and teams to implement designs.
• Support site implementation and QA to ensure quality and consistency.
• Stay current with UX methodologies, trends, and technologies.
• Manage multiple projects and deliverables with deadlines.
