Job summary

HR Acuity is seeking a Lead UX Designer to set the design vision for our Product organization and lead a team of designers and researchers. You will shape the Design System, stay hands-on with high-impact work, and ensure every product reflects deep understanding of ER professionals, managers, and employees.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of UX or product design experience, including 2+ years leading or mentoring designers.
• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining a design system at scale.
• Expert-level proficiency with Figma, including AI tools.
• Experience designing for complex SaaS workflows across web, native, and mobile.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate the UX design strategy aligned with vision and product roadmap.
• Maintain and drive adoption of the Design System with engineering.
• Lead and mentor a team of three designers and one researcher.
• Stay hands-on with wireframes, mocks, and prototypes for high-impact work.
• Translate customer needs into user-centric designs and collaborate with product/engineering.
