Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking a Senior Manager of UX Design to lead and grow our UX team in a remote capacity. You will anchor research-driven design decisions and partner with product, marketing, and IT to align on business impact.

You will present to executives, own design standards and accessibility, and drive conversion through user-centered experiences across our e-commerce platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role with travel to Melville, NY as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of UX leadership experience, including 2+ years directly managing designers.
• Hands-on ownership of direct-to-consumer e-commerce experiences with measurable conversion outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience using customer research (qualitative and quantitative) to drive design decisions.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end ownership: research input, design rationale, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience presenting design work and strategy to executive stakeholders, defended with data and reasoning.
• Fluency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
• Excellent communication skills, able to span detailed design critique and strategic framing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX designers, setting standards for craft, rigor, and consistency across projects.
• Establish and enforce a research-informed design process: decisions grounded in customer insight, usability findings, or behavioral data.
• Partner with Customer Research to translate findings into actionable design direction.
• Own UX best practices and design standards across the org, including accessibility and information architecture.
• Represent UX work to executive leadership, translating design decisions into business terms (conversion, retention, engagement).
• Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, and IT to align design solutions with strategy.
• Build a framework for prioritizing UX initiatives based on customer impact and business value.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and timelines across multiple design workstreams.
• Champion AI-driven tools to enhance design workflows and drive innovation.
