Availity, headquartered in Jacksonville with a broad remote workforce across the United States, is seeking a UX Designer to shape the future of user experiences in healthcare technology. You will partner with product, research, and engineering to deliver accessible, high-quality designs and a cohesive brand experience across platforms.

The role emphasizes user research, high-fidelity visuals, and a portfolio demonstrating UX thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Web Design, Graphic Design, New Media, Interactive Digital Media or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years designing digital products with strong visual design and UX processes.
• Strong portfolio showing high-quality visual design and UX thinking.
• High-fidelity design work, visual exploration, and concept work welcome.
• Proficiency with Figma.
• Strong note-taking and questioning skills.
• Ability to pivot in a fast-changing environment.
• User empathy and curiosity.
• Learning agility: quick grasp of new situations and synthesis of information.
• Knowledge of accessibility/508 compliance.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across disciplines.
• Experience engaging with users to validate concepts and test designs.
• Self-motivation with minimal supervision.
• Experience with behavioral analytics (Google Analytics or Pendo) is a plus.
• Healthcare technology space experience is a plus.
