Job summary

Take Command is seeking a Product Design leader to turn complex customer and business needs into clear product experiences. You will partner with product, engineering, research, and stakeholders to shape strategy and deliver intuitive, accessible solutions from discovery through launch.

The role requires deep user-centered design expertise, high attention to detail, and the ability to balance user, business, and technical constraints while raising design quality across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showing systems thinking, product judgment, and shipped outcomes.
• Experience independently leading complex product initiatives.
• Collaboration, facilitation, and clear communication skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance user, business, and technical needs.
• Commitment to accessible, inclusive, high-quality experiences.
• Experience using AI-assisted workflows to accelerate research and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, including discovery, research, interaction design, prototyping, validation, and implementation.
• Translate customer insights, business goals, and technical constraints into intuitive product experiences.
• Partner with product and engineering to define problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Contribute to and evolve our design system and product-quality standards.
• Clearly communicate design rationale and build alignment across teams.
• Shape broader product strategy, lead work spanning multiple teams, mentoring through influence and example.
