Job summary

Exodigo is seeking a detail-oriented Utility Coordinator to support 811 design ticket submission, permitting coordination, and project readiness. You will collaborate with AHJs, municipalities, and utility owners to ensure timely permits, accurate records, and well-prepared project documentation for field operations and map production.

The role emphasizes ongoing coordination, cost/time estimates for proposals, and proactive communication with internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in utility coordination, permitting, or project operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with task-tracking and document management tools
• Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
• Interest in utilities, infrastructure, operations, or geospatial work.

Responsibilities

• Submit 811 design ticket requests to state and local One Call Centers.
• Coordinate with AHJ, municipalities, utility owners, and external stakeholders for permitting requirements.
• Obtain permits and approvals from municipalities, utility owners, or other stakeholders.
• Review permit requirements during project scoping and provide cost and timeline estimates for client proposals.
• Manage permit submissions and payment workflows following NTP.
• Verify ticket details and ensure information is accurate and complete.
• Track ticket confirmations, deadlines, and statuses in Monday.com.
• Contact utility owners to request records (maps, PDFs, shapefiles, etc.).
• Follow up on outstanding requests and escalate unresponsive utilities.
• Review incoming utility records for completeness and usability.
• Upload records to SharePoint per Exodigo standards.
• Update internal teams on ticket status and weekly reporting.
• Follow jurisdiction-specific requirements and SOPs.
