Exodigo is seeking a Utility Coordinator on a remote-East Coast team to support 811 design ticket requests and permitting workflows. You will liaise with AHJs, municipalities, and utility owners to secure permits and prepare projects for field operations and final maps.

The role emphasizes detail, process discipline, and collaboration with mapping and project teams to ensure records and permits are complete and on schedule.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of utility coordination, permitting, or project operations experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with task-tracking and document management tools.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
• Interest in utilities, infrastructure, operations, or geospatial work.

Responsibilities

• Submit 811 design ticket requests to state and local One Call Centers.
• Coordinate permitting requirements with AHJ, municipalities, and utility owners.
• Obtain permits and approvals from stakeholders.
• Review permit requirements; provide cost and timeline estimates.
• Manage permit submissions and payment workflows.
• Verify ticket details for accuracy and completeness.
• Track ticket confirmations and deadlines in Monday.com.
• Request available records from utility owners (maps, PDFs, shapefiles).
• Follow up on outstanding requests and escalate when unresponsive.
• Review incoming utility records for completeness and usability.
• Upload records to SharePoint per Exodigo standards.
• Update internal teams on ticket status and weekly reporting.
• Follow jurisdiction-specific requirements and internal SOPs.
