Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an Energy Analyst to manage the end‑to‑end utility billing process for CBRE’s on‑account Energy & Sustainability team.

This remote role requires coordinating with utilities, finance teams, and the bill‑payment vendor to ensure accurate billing and timely resolution of issues. The candidate will onboard sites, manage GL coding, produce reports, and support sustainability data reporting including GHG and energy/water profiles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience solving moderately complex problems using established procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with utilities, finance, facilities, AR, and vendor for smooth Bill‑pay operations.
• Onboard new sites into the utility portal and tracking system; remove exited sites.
• Integrate new utility accounts into the bill‑pay tool and code GLs correctly.
• Generate ad hoc utility reports and handle internal requests (bill copies, etc.).
• Investigate account exceptions and resolve site‑level payment issues.
