Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a USPS-related role within direct mail, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Deep understanding of USPS rules, mail classification, and postal optimization strategies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strategic problem-solving abilities with a track record of innovative mailing solutions.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Active involvement with industry associations (MTAC, NAPM, PostCom) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• USPS Compliance and Strategy: act as USPS liaison and SME to internal teams and USPS.
• Stay current on USPS regulations and rate structures, optimizing for cost and speed.
• Data Analysis: use data-driven insights to monitor mail efficiency and delivery performance.
• Reporting: develop reports on mailing performance, cost efficiency, and compliance.
• Lead end-to-end management of USPS promotions with cross-functional coordination.
• Vendor & Partner Relationships: negotiate rates and improve workflows with USPS and partners.
• Represent Lob in MTAC and other USPS groups to influence policy and pricing.
• Influence postal policy by participating in industry discussions and projects.
• Translate industry changes into actionable efficiency improvements.
• Lead initiatives to adopt new USPS products, services, or tech.
• Internal Training: educate teams on USPS policies and innovations.
