Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an IVR/Conversational Engineer to design, build, and deploy call flow automation using Cognigy, with integration to NICE CXone and CRM data for real‑time context. You’ll work with a cross‑functional team including lead developers, designers, and integration specialists to deliver robust self‑service journeys.

The role emphasizes OTP/MFA auth within flows, GraphQL/REST integrations, and data lake support for analytics. A remote USA-based candidate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience developing IVR/conversational flows on Cognigy or similar platforms.
• GraphQL and REST API integration experience.
• Experience with authentication flows (OTP/MFA) in telephony/conversational contexts.
• Familiarity with NICE CXone and CRM data integration for real-time context.
• Understanding of microservices architecture principles.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks for conversational/IVR flows.
• Ability to work within enterprise governance and ARB processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure IVR call flows within Cognigy, incl. MVP flows and OTP authentication.
• Translate caller journeys into functioning conversational flows.
• Implement and configure OTP/MFA within call flow logic.
• Integrate call flows with CRM data systems for contextual experiences.
• Coordinate with NICE integration specialists for platform compatibility.
• Participate in automation testing to ensure quality before release.
• Collaborate on microservices-based architecture and GraphQL/CCN implementations.
• Support Data Lake integration for reporting and analytics.
