Job summary

Harris Corporate is seeking a US Payroll Administrator to manage day-to-day payroll operations and regulatory reporting in a remote, work-from-home role. You will ensure internal controls, accuracy, and compliance across multiple states and payroll systems.

You will collaborate with HR and finance, handle inquiries, and contribute to continuous improvement of payroll processes, while maintaining high service levels and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Experience with large payroll processing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process an accurate biweekly payroll for 500+ employees in multiple US states.
• Account for all payroll elements including GL reporting, tax withholdings, deductions, garnishments, and terminations.
• Collaborate with HR on payroll-related items such as benefits and leaves of absence.
• Process/payroll tax payments and ensure IRS reporting compliance.
• Perform payroll audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide timely responses to payroll inquiries and deliver quality customer service.
• Assist in improving payroll procedures for greater efficiency.
