Job summary

Willson International is seeking an Import Analyst to manage the end-to-end clearance of international shipments into the U.S. from a home-based setup in the United States.

This role involves coordinating with US Customs, clients, and carriers to ensure compliance and timely clearance. You will use various software to enter data, communicate with stakeholders, and work with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma is required; post-secondary education preferred.
• Experience in a Customs Brokerage environment, clearing shipments is an asset.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products.
• An eye for detail is critical for success in the role.
• A proactive problem solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with multiple third parties (US Customs, clients, shipping companies) to ensure imports are cleared for entry into US.
• Input required information into our database using multiple computer programs.
• Communicate with clients and transportation carriers via email and phone.
• Partner with internal departments such as Logistics and Finance, plus government agencies to resolve discrepancies.
