Prisma Health Urgent Care invites a remote supervising physician to provide clinical oversight and support to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in accordance with applicable laws and organizational policies. You will maintain the supervising relationship under South Carolina Medical Board guidelines, ensuring proper oversight, documentation, and escalation when needed.

This fully remote role requires residence in South Carolina and participates in a team-based physician coverage model to

Competenze

• Board-certified or Board-eligible and licensed to practice in SC
• Current DEA registration
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience reading diagnostic studies (X-rays, EKGs)
• BLS certification (provided if needed)
• Meets credentialing requirements for Prisma Health Urgent Care / WellStreet Urgent Care
• Urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine experience preferred
• Strong communication with patients, families, and staff

Mansioni

• Provide clinical oversight and support to APPs during supervision or coverage periods via telephone or approved methods when not on-site
• Review and cosign APP documentation as required by law and policy
• Offer clinical guidance, case reviews, and escalation of high-risk or abnormal findings
• Direct APP practice within scope, including prescriptive authority where permitted
• Participate in quality improvement and peer review activities related to APP practice
• Assist in onboarding and orientation for newly credentialed APPs
• Support team operations and maintain high-quality patient care across centers
