Qualifications

• Native or near-native Urdu reading, including older print.
• Fast, accurate typing in Urdu script.
• Patience with faded, crowded or uneven pages.

Responsibilities

• Type lithographed pages and newspaper columns blind from the image.
• Keep original spellings, punctuation and line breaks.
• Mark smudged or broken words with uncertainty tags.
