Vettedlance is seeking a meticulous Urdu transcriptionist to convert spoken Urdu into clean, accurate text for AI training. You will transcribe recordings, correct drafts, and ensure every word and pause is faithfully represented.

The role is a remote, hourly contract offering 10–40 hours per week. Pay ranges from $10 to $20 per hour (USD) with weekly payments, after a short paid assessment.

Qualifications

• Native or professional-level Urdu, with good written English for instructions
• Sharp listening across accents and dialects
• High accuracy on repetitive, detail-heavy work
• Prior transcription, subtitling or language QA experience is a plus

Responsabilités

• Transcribe Urdu audio (and video where needed) word for word using the project style guide
• Correct errors in machine-generated or earlier human transcripts
• Mark speakers, unclear passages, noise and unusable clips
• Add short notes on dialect, accent or context when asked
