Qualifications

• Native or near-native reading of Urdu, including older handwritten forms.
• Fast, accurate typing in Urdu script on a computer.
• Patience with dense, faded or unusual layouts.
• A laptop or desktop and a stable internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe scanned Urdu pages, Nastaliq, exactly as printed or written.
• Type blind from the image with no OCR or copied text.
• Flag unreadable words using the marking system.
