Job summary

PRO IS, Inc. is hiring an Underwriting Support Assistant for a remote, full-time role based in the United States. The position supports underwriting teams by entering data, compiling policy documents, and using Excel to manage and standardize information.

Training will be provided for client systems and processes. The role runs Monday to Friday with hours 9 am–6 pm or 10 am–7 pm EST, offering a strong entry-level opportunity in the insurance services industry.

Qualifications

• Entry level role with training provided.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word is required.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter information about potential policyholders into the client's system.
• Map property location to nearest body of water.
• Assemble documents to create final policy documents.
• Sort and filter data in Excel (states, vehicle types, payroll, etc.).
• Analyze and enter information into the system.
• Use Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP to standardize data.
• Convert Word and PDF documents into Excel.
• Use Google tools to determine business type and address details.
• Translate documentation using Google Translate as needed.
