Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 7+ years of commercial insurance underwriting experience.
- 3+ years with direct supervision and/or management of people.
- Advanced technical underwriting expertise with extensive insurance knowledge and practices.
- Data analytics to monitor profitability, rate achievement, and SLA performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor and coach Underwriters in technical and professional skills.
- Supervise underwriting operations and provide guidance to a team of Underwriters.
- Monitor and report portfolio performance and implement pricing and growth models.
- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and insurance regulations.
- Collaborate with Program Managers to strengthen programs.
