Nationwide is seeking a seasoned underwriting professional to lead the underwriting and program development for multi-line P&C risk. You will review complex risks, determine pricing and coverage terms, and collaborate with reinsurers and program managers to drive profitable growth.

Ideal candidates will have five or more years in professional lines underwriting, strong knowledge of reinsurance, and ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Typically five or more years related experience as a Professional, Financial and/or Specialty lines underwriter.
• Program leadership experience in professional lines of business is preferred.
• Experience with underwriting guidelines, forms, rate filings and reinsurance concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Drives the sales and underwriting relationship for Programs products and services.
• Analyzes program manager relationships/results and recommends corrective actions.
• Reviews highly complex risks and determines acceptability, pricing, coverage, terms and conditions.
• Engages with reinsurers and maintains relationships for treaty, semi-automatic and facultative reinsurance.
• Develops underwriting guidelines, rates, forms, endorsements and procedures.
• Interacts with claims, actuary, compliance to achieve company goals.

Undergraduate studies in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Risk Management
