Job summary

Pie Insurance is seeking an Underwriting Associate to join our data‑driven underwriting team and help assess new business submissions with accuracy and speed. You’ll work remotely from anywhere in the United States, collaborating daily with underwriters and partners to review quotes, endorsements, and post‑issuance requests while expanding knowledge of WC and Commercial Auto lines.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high‑volume book are essential, as is adapting to evolving

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience with commercial lines preferred; workers’ comp or other P&C lines preferred.
• Ability to produce quality work while managing a high-volume workload.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to context switch in a multi-state book.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze new business submissions, including revisions to quotes.
• Process bind reviews and endorsements from partners and internal teams.
• Support quote revisions and other operational needs across underwriting teams.
• Communicate with underwriters and agency partners to gather information.
