Jobgether is partnering with a healthcare provider to hire an Underpayment Analyst for a fully remote role based in the United States. You will analyze hospital claims, identify discrepancies, and work with insurers to recover underpayments.

A comprehensive 90-business-day training program supports your onboarding and success. Responsibilities include documenting findings, applying Medicare/Medicaid rules, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve recovery outcomes while maintaining HIPAA

Formación

• Strong investigative and analytical skills to identify payment discrepancies.
• Ability to interpret Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payer policies; understand reimbursement guidelines.
• Experience with healthcare billing systems and interoperability with EHR/EMR platforms is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze hospital claims to identify discrepancies between expected and actual reimbursements.
• Investigate underpayments and variances due to coding or policy applications.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to obtain information and resolve underpayments.
• Prepare documentation to support reimbursement recovery and maintain audit-ready records.
• Apply payer guidelines to support accurate claim assessments and recovery actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
