Jobgether is seeking an Underpayment Analyst for a remote role based in the United States. You will analyze hospital claims, identify underpayments, and collaborate with carriers and stakeholders to recover revenue and ensure accurate reimbursement.

This position includes a structured 90-business-day training program, with emphasis on payer policies, HIPAA compliance, and process improvement to enhance financial accuracy across healthcare organizations.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement methods.
• Ability to interpret Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer policies.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and CMS regulations.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, or Meditech is desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze hospital claims to identify discrepancies between expected and actual reimbursements.
• Investigate underpayments by examining coding and billing errors and payer policy applications.
• Contact insurance carriers to obtain missing information and clarify payment decisions.
• Prepare documentation to support reimbursement recovery and posting of payments.
• Maintain records of investigations, root causes, and trends for audits.
