Jobgether is seeking an Underpayment Analyst for a fully remote position in the United States. You will analyze hospital claims, identify underpayments, and work with carriers to resolve issues.

A comprehensive 90-business-day training program will support your success while you contribute to revenue integrity and operational efficiency. You will document findings, share insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve recovery outcomes, all while maintaining HIPAA compliance in a remote

Qualifications

• Understand healthcare billing and reimbursement workflows.
• Ability to analyze claim data and identify discrepancies.
• Familiar with payer policies and CMS/HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze hospital claims to identify discrepancies between expected and actual reimbursements.
• Investigate underpayments and adjust where appropriate.
• Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain missing information.
• Prepare documentation to support reimbursement recovery.
• Maintain records of investigations, outcomes, and trends.
• Apply Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial policy guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in team discussions to improve workflows.
